Tanya Burnell

Tanya Burnell is utilizing her background in finance, investing, and scaling companies to focus on her passion of seeing increased economic vitality in disinvested communities.

During PLS, Burnell partnered with Together Chicago, an organization focused on providing a holistic transformation in under-served communities by bringing together the key sectors of society to reimagine ways of working together. The economic development initiatives of this project are focused on sustainable job and business creation, supporting workforce development, and encouraging corporations to expand and invest in disinvested communities.
