Liza Smoker

With professional experience in law and government including a decade as a private practice attorney, Liza Smoker transitioned her career to fight all forms of human exploitation through education, law, and policy.  She is passionate about bringing all stakeholders, disciplines, and political parties together to develop substantive solutions to difficult problems.

During PLS, Smoker worked on a series of initiatives to educate, train, and empower communities and government entities to address sex trafficking domestically and abroad. An aspect of her project also focuses on the harmful effects of pornography on children due to their increasing exposure through the Internet.
