Jeannette Gaudry Haynie

Jeannette Haynie tackles national security and local community challenges from a creative, gender-based perspective. Through CAVU Leadership Lab, a youth program she created with her husband, Jeannette began to use those experiences to develop tomorrow’s strategic leaders. Specifically, CAVU seeks to develop the leaders of tomorrow through the application of and immersion in Marine Corps leadership principles, humanizing tactics and ideas, and experiences that break down stereotypes in order to tackle problems.

During PLS, Haynie created a new strategy for CAVU with the goal of shifting the initial focus from a smaller, one-week program to a more enduring, years-long adventure that develops young people into cross-community problem solvers.
