Ann Ratnayake Macy
Class of 2018
After nearly a decade working on child abuse and domestic violence cases in the criminal justice system at both the federal and local levels, Ann Ratnayake Macy began working to better protect children from abuse and neglect as they move across jurisdictional lines.
During PLS, Macy focused on creating the National Center for Child Abuse Statistics and Policy, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing child abuse and protecting children. The organization spreads innovative ideas in technology, law, and research across state lines to aid frontline professionals preventing child abuse and protecting victims.
